Exciting Developments with the FREED Project

Pre-Contract Site Meeting with Project Partner Limerick Institute of Technology and Solo Energy.

Friday 30th June, saw an exciting development with the FREED project sponsored and LIT supported energy innovation. A pre-contract meeting was held at Nenagh Library, the site chosen for the installation by Solo Energy of an LG Chem Battery and Solar Edge Inverter with StorEdge interface, which will be linked to the existing roof mounted solar panels.

The meeting was to agree minor contract details and carry out a final pre-installation check of the site, to confirm the layout and connectivity of the existing electrical systems, and the precise location selected for the location of the equipment.

Because the innovation is being installed at Nenagh Library, Tipperary County Council Library Services will be co-signatories to the contract along with Limerick Institute of Technology and Solo Energy.

It is anticipated the contracts will be signed within the next fortnight, with installation of the LG Chem Battery and Solar Edge Inverter to follow.
